Betty Louise Bohan, 79, passed away on March 9, 2026 in Oklahoma City after a brief illness. She was born on January 15, 1947 to Reinhold and Mary Dick in Clinton, Oklahoma. After high school Betty attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and went on to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Betty had a distinguished career in the oil and gas industry. She was a lease analyst for El Paso Oil & Gas before joining Devon Energy Company in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the National Association of Lease and Title Analyst and the Oklahoma City Association of Lease and Title Analyst.
Betty had many interests in life, she enjoyed traveling, playing cards with her friends and was known to enjoy a round of golf. She very much enjoyed giving back to her community through her volunteer work with Whiz Kids, Hannah’s Promise, Therapy Dogs International, Wings Special Needs Community, and as a Care Chaplin. Above all she cherished her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Fred Dick. She is survived by her loving son Brandon and his wife Casey; her sister Linda and her husband Arthur Christian; nephews Wayne, Jeff and Justin Christian.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday March 17, 2026 at Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City.
