It is with deep sadness, yet with acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Westerheide on August 31, 2026. Chuck died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife, Sarah, and their four sons.

Chuck served the communities of Midwest City, Jones, Choctaw, the Village, Ponca City, Wichita, Stillwater and Oklahoma City through banking. He was active in service as a member and leader of several Rotary Clubs and President of the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce. He graduated in class two of Leadership Oklahoma and was honored by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for his 50 years of service to the industry in 2014.
Chuck enjoyed an active life filled with the sports and outdoor activities he loved, including sailing, fishing, taking cruises, attending OU football games, and hiking in the Rockies with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lucy Westerheide; his parents‑in‑law, Jack and Dee Barrington; daughter‑in‑law, Shanell Cobb Westerheide; sister, Kathy Moran; and brother, John Westerheide.
