Darlene Grace Wolf Ford

Darleen Grace Wolf Ford of Calumet, Michigan died peacefully on June 19, 2022, at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Springfield, Missouri. Darleen was born August 7, 1926, in St. Louis, Missouri to William Charles and Emma Wolf. Darleen attended Holy Cross Lutheran School in St. Louis, High School in Oklahoma City, and Universities in Oklahoma and Michigan. Darleen was a loving, caring and generous mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. She followed the Catholic faith and was seldom without her rosary in hand or in her pocket. Darleen was a lifetime member of Mensa and the Institute of Noetic Sciences and had an insatiable quest for knowledge and discovery. She was always ready to take journeys with her children to explore the mysteries of the unknown within our Universe. Darleen loved exploring property throughout the US and remained active in property investments throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo E. Ford; former husband and father of her children, William Joseph Flynn, Jr.; brother Gilbert Wolf; son, William Michael Flynn, grandson Bryan Patrick Russell and great grandchildren Alyssa Marie Flynn and Ozzie Michael Flynn. Survivors include son Steven Charles Flynn, wife Angela; daughter Carol Anne Flynn Holleyman, husband Bob; son Gary Allen Flynn, wife Lydia; daughter Margaret Mary Flynn Robinson, husband Don; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one nephew and two nieces. Memorial gifts may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City. Service will be held at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel located at 7801 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73132 on June 25 at 1:00 pm.
