DEBORAH ANN WILLINGHAM

Deborah Ann Clyborn Willingham (Debbie), 74, passed peacefully into her Heavenly rest on December 12, 2025, after a courageous 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s. She was surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, and Nana, Debbie lived a life defined by unwavering devotion to the people she cherished most.

Debbie was born on August 10, 1951, to Raymond and Arlene Clyborn at Shattuck Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, Oklahoma. She attended grade school through high school in Laverne, Oklahoma, graduating in May 1969.

Debbie attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma, from September 1969 to May 1970. She later attended Weaver Airline School in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating in December 1970. Debbie began her career at Hertz Rent-A-Car in Oklahoma City and later retired from the State of Oklahoma after thirty-two years of dedicated service with CompSource Oklahoma.

Debbie was blessed with two sons from her first marriage, Chad Tyson Hamilton and Nathan Wade Hamilton.

In 1983, Debbie met Kerry Willingham, and it was love at first sight. Kerry brought two daughters, Kristi and Kelli, into her life from his first marriage. In three short months, they were married on July 1, 1983, creating a “Brady Bunch” of sorts.

Kerry and Debbie shared many cherished memories over the years, including wonderful vacations and time spent at the lake with family and friends. They enjoyed traveling together and took several snow-skiing trips, multiple Caribbean cruises, two Hawaii cruises, and an Alaska cruise. Debbie was also quite the adventurer, enjoying activities such as skydiving and rappelling.

Faith and family were at the center of everything Debbie did. She especially loved church at Quail Springs Baptist, birthday get-togethers, Fourth of July fireworks, Halloween festivities, and Christmas Eve celebrations. These moments brought her great joy. Debbie taught all the children how to play a variety of games, a tradition they continue with great enthusiasm. Her presence made these gatherings not only special, but unforgettable.

Debbie was the beloved wife of Kerry Willingham, whose partnership and love were the constant foundation of her life. She was a proud and loving mother to her children: Chad and Jamie Hamilton, Nathan and Kourtney Hamilton, Kristi Ice, and Kelli and Audie Burns. Her heart expanded even further as she became “Nana” to her grandchildren—Makalyn and Callie, children of Chad and Jamie; Logan and Liam, children of Nathan and Kourtney; Zach and Lexi, children of Kristi; and Emma and Kinley, children of Kelli and Audie—each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and happiness.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Arlene Clyborn; her infant sister, Fern Rena Clyborn; and her infant granddaughter, Jordan Olivia Hamilton.

Debbie’s fierce love and loyalty will be forever remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she treasured and in the memories she created—memories that will continue to bring comfort and inspiration. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Quail Springs Baptist Church.
