Deborah Ann Clyborn Willingham (Debbie), 74, finally won her 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s and went to her Heavenly rest on December 12th, 2025. She passed peacefully from this world surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, and Nana, Debbie lived a life full of unwavering devotion to the people she cherished most.
Debbie was born to Raymond and Arlene Clyborn on August 10, 1951, at Shattuck Memorial
Hospital in Shattuck, Oklahoma. She attended grade school through high school in Laverne, Oklahoma, and graduated in May 1969.
Debbie attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma, from September 1969- May 1970; then attended Weaver Airline School in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated December 1970. Debbie started her career at Hertz Rent-A-Car in Oklahoma City and retired from the State of Oklahoma after thirty-two years with CompSource Oklahoma.
While Debbie’s first marriage ended in divorce, she was blessed with two bouncing baby boys, Chad Tyson Hamilton in 1974 and Nathan Wade Hamilton in 1979.
In 1983, Debbie met Kerry Willingham, and it was love at first sight. He, too, was divorced and had two daughters, Kristi and Kelli. In three short months, they were married on July 1, 1983, creating a Brady Bunch of sorts.
Kerry and Debbie collected many good memories over the years, including wonderful vacations and cruises. They got a ski boat when the kids were young so they could spend time having fun at the lake with family and friends. Kerry and Debbie also had a deep love for traveling. They took several snow skiing vacations, several Caribbean cruises, two Hawaii cruises, and one Alaska cruise. Debbie was also quite the adventurer, going skydiving and rappelling. Kerry did not share the same sense of adventure.
Faith and family were at the center of everything Debbie did. She especially loved church at Quail Springs Baptist, birthday get-togethers, Fourth of July fireworks, Halloween festivities, and Christmas Eve celebrations. These were among her most joyful moments. Debbie taught all the kids how to play a variety of games, a tradition they carry on with great passion. Her presence made these days not only special but unforgettable.
Debbie was the beloved wife of Kerry Willingham, whose partnership and love were the constant foundation of her life. She was a proud and loving mom to her children: Chad and Jamie Hamilton, Nathan and Kourtney Hamilton, Kristi Ice, and Kelli and Audie Burns. Her heart expanded even further as she became “Nana” to her grandchildren-Makalyn, Callie, Logan, Liam, Zach, Lexi, Kinley, and Emma-each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and happiness. However, it should be noted that her truly favorite kids were Gracie and Emma, collectively known as the Chihuahuas.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Arlene Clyborn; her sister, Fern Rena Clyborn; and her infant granddaughter, Jordan Olivia Hamilton.
Debbie’s fierce love and loyalty will be forever remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she treasured and in the memories she created that will continue to bring comfort and inspiration.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Quail Springs Baptist Church.
