Dee Dinger

Deborah Dee Ann "Dee" Dinger was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, after a valiant fight with cancer. Dee was born on March 17th, 1959, in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jim Dinger; her sister, brother-in-law, and niece, Lisa, Gary, and Leah Roberts. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Eileen Singley, and Charles and Frances Dinger.Born and raised in Oklahoma, Dee grew up in Okmulgee and Edmond, before living out her adult years in Oklahoma City. Dee graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1977 and attended both the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma (formerly Central State University). Dee met the love of her life, Jim Dinger, in 1990, and the two were married in their home on July 3rd, 1995. While she began her professional career in the oil and gas industry, Dee made a name for herself in the food industry and later as a homemaker. A fisherwoman with a love for the outdoors, Dee's favorite place was on the water with a fishing pole in her hand. She was artist, an animal lover, a foodie, and a compassionate, loyal friend to everyone she met. Above all her passions, hobbies and endeavors, Dee loved the Lord most of all. A genuine and authentic Proverbs 31 Woman, she devoted her life to serving the Lord, sharing her adoration for Him with everyone she met, and the joy she found in our Lord, Jesus, radiated from her like sunshine. While she will be missed more than words can convey by her family and friends, those who loved her find peace in knowing she is in her heavenly home with the loved ones who preceded her and her Heavenly Father.A visitation will be open to friends and family on Thursday, December 9th from 10:00AM – 7:00PM at Smith and Kernke Funeral Home, located at 14624 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73132. A private service for the immediate family will be held on Friday, December 10th, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Dee's favorite charity– City Care.CITY CAREAn OKC based non-profit, City Care is working to transform Oklahoma City by ending the cycles of social injustice and severe poverty, one person at a time. - https://www.citycareokc.org/ - 2000 N Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73106- (405) 652-1112
