Dennis was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 13, 1941 and departed this world surrounded by his family on February 7, 2021.He was raised in Enid, Oklahoma and graduated from Enid High School in 1959. Following graduation, Dennis entered the US Navy wherein he served on the USS Ticonderoga and the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War.After returning to the States and with the assistance of the GI Bill, he attended the University of Oklahoma from 1963-1967 graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. Dennis became a Certified Public Accountant and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma Law School graduating in 1970.He was a member of the Oklahoma Bar and practiced law as a sole practitioner in the Oklahoma City area for over 50 years.Dennis loved his children and his grandchildren to the ends-of-the-earth and was extremely proud of their many accomplishments. There was a special place in his heart for the University of Oklahoma. As an avid OU football fan and season ticket holder for 58 years, rarely did he miss a home football game.Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Glendeen Roberts, and brother, Keith Roberts, Dennis is survived by his wife of the home, Teresa Roberts. He leaves 3 children and 8 grandchildren with wonderful memories and lessons for a lifetime; Mallory Roberts Harrell of Tallahassee, Florida, husband Michael, sons Bennett, Hayes and Shelby Harrell; Dr. Ashley Roberts Magness of Oklahoma City, husband Dr. Steven Magness and children Caleb and Mary Katherine Magness; Dennis C. Roberts II of Oklahoma City, wife Stephanie, children Henley, Briggs and Campbell Roberts.
