Donna Marie Kettelkamp

In the blink of an eye, Donna Marie Kettelkamp, a devoted nurse, loving family member, and passionate animal advocate, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 13, 2026, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on April 25, 1960, Donna's life was marked by dedication to her profession, heartfelt care for others, and an infectious enthusiasm for her many interests.

Donna earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma City University and proudly served as a registered nurse for many years. Her commitment to her profession was a testament to her compassionate nature and unwavering dedication.

Beyond her career, Donna was known for her deep love of animals, with a particular fondness for cats. She found joy in caring for them and often shared her home and heart with feline companions. Her interests extended to popular culture as well; she cherished all things Star Trek, the music of Wynonna Judd, and faithfully followed the Dallas Cowboys.

Donna’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Kettelkamp of Virginia; her sisters, Susan Bradley of South Carolina, and Kathy Kerr of Texas; and her brother, David Bitts also residing in Texas. Though Donna's parents, Shirley Bitts (Oklahoma City) and Donald Bitts (Grand Prairie, TX) have passed, along with her maternal grandparents, Mabel and Richard Estlinbaum (Oklahoma City,) her spirit lives on in her family legacy. Her two cats, Jasper and Sparky, have also crossed the rainbow bridge. She leaves behind a grandson and a beloved circle of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews as well.

Donna was beloved by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed for the kindness and compassion she brought into their lives. At this time, no services are planned. Those wishing to honor her memory might consider supporting the Pets & People Humane Society, an organization close to her heart. Their website is https://www.petsandpeople.com/donate

Donna’s life was a celebration of service, love, and compassion. Her memory endures in the hearts of those who loved her and in the lives she touched.
