Edmond Earl Huffines

Edmond Earl, born Dec. 8, 1925 in Ada Oklahoma. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Jeannie of Edmond and daughter Heidi of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Bill Huffine. He leaves behind many wonderful relatives and friends. He attended school in Ada and Oklahoma City studying law, accounting, insurance and real estate. He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific theater during WWII proudly under the command of General Douglas MacArthur. He was an amateur boxer licensed to judge and time with the USABA. He loved portrait painting, photography and playing the violin. Another truelove of Earl's life was his racehorse "Official Reward." He was proud of his native American heritage and was a member of the Choctaw Nation. Earl retired after 35 years of service from the Oklahoma Auditor and Inspector's Office where he made many cherished friends there and in city, state and county government. His Christian faith and love of the widow's orphan filled his earthly life.
