EDWARD PAUL EDMISTON
passed away from this life on May 3, 2026. He was born to David and Margaret Edmiston on October 3, 1925, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was born as the 3rd son followed by 4 girls. After graduating from Christ the King Catholic High School in Tulsa, he attended Oklahoma State University where he joined Theta Kappa Phi. He enlisted into the US Army Air Corps (now the US AirForce) and was called to service October 26th, 1943, and joined the World War II campaign in the Pacific on the island of Saipan. After the war he returned to Oklahoma State University where he met his wife, Dolores Joy Ravaioli. After they graduated, they married and had 6 children. They lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Houston.
He retired from WellTech as Vice President and returned to Oklahoma City where they joined Epiphany of The Lord Catholic Church. As a couple they were involved in St Vincent’s DePaul Society, volunteers at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, several dance clubs, and were Avid Worldwide travelers. Dolores passed away July 17th, 2012. He is survived by their 6 children and their spouses, 12 of the 14 grandchildren and their spouses and 13 great grandchildren.
On Friday May 8th at 6:00 pm a Vigil and Rosary will be held at Smith and Kernke 14624 N May Ave. Followed on Saturday May 9th at 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Epiphany of The Lord Catholic Church 7336 West Britton Road; interment will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
A Luncheon after the interment will be held at Bryce Hall at Epiphany of The Lord Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Vincent DePaul Society or the Men’s Club at Epiphany of The Lord Catholic Church.
