Emily Carlee Schwab

Emily Carlee Schwab, 44 years old, lost her battle with brain cancer and passed away peacefully while holding her father's hand on the morning of Thursday, May 19, 2022 in OKC. Emily attended Deer Creek Schools. She was a 3-year starter for Deer Creek Lady Antler's Basketball and also ran track. She graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business. Emily proudly worked in sales at Schwab Meat Company, her family business. Emily was adventurous! She loved to travel going anywhere she could "put her toes in the sand". She was a foodie and enjoyed cooking, stinky cheese, reading, gift-giving, and earned a PhD in shoe and handbag shopping. She was a huge sports fan - never missing an OU or Thunder Game and loved the Detroit Tigers. Emily passionately loved "her people (you know who you are)". She was always the life of the party. She loved her dogs – Baker, her Pit Bull and Snickers. Emily was admittedly spoiled. She never denied it, but recognized it was a unique blessing and loved paying her blessings forward to others. Emily loved her Niece and Nephew, Carlee Walker and Ryan Neighbors and her God children, Gillian Thompson and Curran Krittenbrink. She was "Fairy Godmother" to her three girls, Augusta, Scarlett, and Eleanor Yates. Most of all, Emily loved, loved, loved her Daddy. Emily is survived by her Father and Mother, Larry and Andie Schwab; Sister, Lacey; Niece, Carlee Walker; Nephew, Ryan Neighbors, and numerous other relatives. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Patricia Tate; Grandfather, Jack Schwab; and Grandmothers Lynn Schwab, Hazel Tate and Alberta French.
