With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of E.W. "Dub" Jiles, a loving father, grandfather, dedicated businessman, and esteemed member of the community. Born on July 10, 1935, in Maple, OK, Dub passed away on May 4, 2024, in Oklahoma City, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, hard work, and integrity.

Dub had a rich and varied life. He attended Oklahoma A&M and served his country in the Air National Guard from 1958 until 1962, and later moved to Oklahoma City in 1971. His business endeavors, ranging from oil and gas services to nursing homes, showcased his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence. Moreover, Dub was a respected 32nd degree Mason, embodying principles of fellowship and service throughout his life.

Dub is preceded in death by his parents, WM “Jenks” and Bessie Mae Jiles.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Deanna Myers (Mark) of OKC, and cherished granddaughters Jennifer Beavers of OKC and Ashley Rock (Peter) of Broomfield, CO, who brought immense joy into his life. Additionally, he is survived by his brother J. Max Jiles (Debbie) of Sallisaw, OK, sister Peggy Kennedy (Calvin) of Greely, CO, nieces and nephews Jon P. Jiles (Kara) of Boulder, CO, JeanAnn Hecht (Jonathon) of Washington. D.C., Bryan Kennedy of Gill, CO, Robin Johnston of Heath, TX, and his longtime assistant, Charlotte Venable.

At his request, there will be no public service; however, those who wish to honor Dub, please consider a donation to Aspiring Attitudes of OKC.
