Frank Richard Smith

Frank Richard Smith, 75 of Guthrie Oklahoma passed away on April 22, 2023.Frank Smith was born on the 13th of March,1948 in Bartlesville Oklahoma to Beulah and James Smith. Frank moved to Ponca City as a young boy after losing both of his parents at age 3. Frank went on to graduate from Ponca City high school in 1967. While in his teens, through St. Mary's Catholic Church, Frank made an inseparable bond with Glen and Nettie Cox. This bond continued to grow into adulthood and later Glen and Nettie would be Grandma and Grandpa to Franks ChildrenFrank went attended college at the University of Oklahoma. He met Debbie Senter in December of 1970, and they were married on November 17th, 1972. In 1978, they built their forever home in Guthrie, OK, and went on to have two boys, Jimmy and Richard.Frank was predeceased by his parents, Glen and Nettie Cox, and Siblings, Bill, Deloris, and Bob. He is survived by his wife Debbie Smith, Son Jimmy Smith and wife Amberlea of Edmond, OK, Son Richard Smith and wife Destiny of Guthrie, OK, Brother Jerry Lowe and wife Sally of San Diego, CA and three grandchildren, Nelson, Weldon and Harper.Services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Oklahoma City of April 27th at 11:00 a.m.
