George A. Razook, Jr., our beloved husband, brother, uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend fell asleep in the Lord on July 19, 2025. He was born on March 1, 1941 in Woodward, Oklahoma to George A. and Pauline (Cohlmia) Razook. He grew up in Seiling, Oklahoma where he was a stellar student and an outstanding athlete. He attended The University of Oklahoma, Southwestern State University and the Baylor University College of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in Stillwater, Oklahoma for over 50 years. He married the love of his life, Sydney Simon on October 11, 1991. Golf, good food, card games with his family, and OU and OSU sports brought him great joy. He was cherished by his many family members, but especially by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Sydney Simon and his sisters and brothers-in-law Sally Simon, Susan and Dr. Edward Harroz, Jr., Ralph II “Si” and Sherri Simon, Stacy and Ned Shadid, Shelly and Christopher Demetree. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Dr. Edward III and Jessica Harroz, Gia, Nyssa, and Edison, Leah Harroz, Andrew and Carla Harroz, Ralph III “Simon” and Natalie Simon, Sienna, Sloane, Kathryn and Jarrad McMillan, Gunner Hulsey, Adele and Mark Crawford, Nicholas, Luke and Vivian, Ned Jr. and Lindsey Shadid, Eloise, Evelyn, Luke, Molly, Dr. Carletta “Carlee” Demetree, Christopher Jr. and Margaret Demetree, Reina, Christopher, Benjamin, Claire Demetree, Gavin Warren and GL and Jennifer Warren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Dr. Ralph and Carletta Simon, his sister Billy Joy Warren, and brother -in-law Gene Warren and his nephew Todd Warren.
He was a faithful member of St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church (15000 N. May Ave. Oklahoma City, OK) followed by a time of fellowship at the church. Interment will be 1:30 pm at Rose Hill Burial Park.
