George Harvey Moore

George Moore was born January 20, 1933 to Willie and Emma Moore in Andalusia, AL. He was the fifth of eight children.He served in the Air Force and was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, where he also served on Honor Guard Duty.He married Dolores Jean Krueger on November 26, 1955 at St Francis Of Assisi Catholic Church. He and Dolores had seven children. He loved Jesus, his family, and the wonder of nature. He encouraged his children and others to pursue education and enjoy life.After leaving active military service, George was an electrician, accountant and business owner. He retired from the Air Reserves as CMSGT.He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dolores Krueger Moore, his seven children, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 1901 NW 18th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1:00pm, followed by burial at Rose Hill Park at 6001 NW Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK at 2:30pm.The family requests memorial contributions to Rosary School at 1919 NW 18th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 in lieu of flowers.
