Glenda Sue Webster, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend died peacefully May 22, 2026. She was born November 14, 1935, in Garber, OK, the daughter of Glen Leroy and Alice Goeller. Glenda attended Bath and Hominy Grade Schools, Webster Jr. High, and graduated from Oklahoma City Central High School in 1953. In 1952, while at Central, she met the love of her life, a sailor, Bill Webster, returning to high school after bravely serving his country.
Glenda and Bill were married December 10, 1953, and spent more than 72 loving years together raising a family and building their life together.
To Glenda, her family always came first! The family home was filled with love and laughter and always welcomed Glen and Steve’s friends with open arms. Den mother, PTA volunteer, and fierce competitor (she played a mean game of Chicken Foot), she was the definition of a devoted wife and mother.
Glenda had a lifelong passion for treasure hunting and often could be found at Garage and Estate Sales where she delighted in uncovering hidden gems. Every Friday and Saturday morning outing was an adventure!
She is survived by her husband, Bill; sons, Glen Webster (Tina) and Steve Webster (Nancy); grandchildren, Holly Wilson, Lindsey McLeod (Austin), and Blake Webster; and great-grandson, Jaxon Wilson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Roger Goeller and an infant brother, Richard.
Funeral services are Saturday, June 13, at Smith & Kernke (23rd Street) at 2:00 pm, with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OMRF (Alzheimer’s Research) or charity of your choice.
Special thanks to caregiver, Patricia Rogers, who took such wonderful care of Mom.
In her honor, hug your mother, call your children, share a meal with someone you love, and never pass up a good garage sale — because she certainly never did!
