Gretta Jo Burnett, passed away on March 3, 2022 in Oklahoma City. She was born on February 7, 1927 to Gretta Anita Rhoads Koberg and John Detlef Koberg. Gretta attended Taft Jr. High, Classen High School and OCU. Her nickname was "Bubbles" after her favorite childhood book Bobbie Bubbles. She loved Antiques, Art, Ballet, Music, Opera, Poetry (from "Daffodils" by Wordsworth to "Vagabond's House" by Blanding), Traveling and the color pink. Gretta worked in sales for Braniff Airways, Continental Airlines and SunWorld International Airways in addition to several travel agencies. After retiring she was a docent for the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Cowboy Hall of Fame, as well as a member of the Civic Music Association, Master Gardeners, Toastmistresses and Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother and her beloved brother, John D. "Jack" Koberg, Jr. Gretta's outgoing personality assisted her travel industry career and active social life. She is survived by her daughter Gretta Suzanne Morgan and her husband Chip, son John Randal Burnett and his wife Deane, granddaughters Stephanie Morgan Wangler and her husband David and Michelle Morgan and her husband Adam Reed-Erickson as well as her great grandchildren Morgan SuzAnn Wangler and Samuel Valentine Wangler. Many thanks from the family go to Dr. Gayathri Dasharathy for diagnosing and treating Gretta's dementia for the past 10 years. In addition, many thanks to the staff at Dorset Place Memory Care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (omrf.org) or the charity of your choice. The family is planning a memorial service at Smith and Kernke chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 3:00 PM.
