With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our precious baby, Haisley Grace Lafferre, who was born on January 22, 2026, and was peacefully carried into eternal rest on February 17, 2026.
From the moment she entered this world, Haisley filled our family with immeasurable love and light. Haisley came into our lives like a small, shining breath of love, leaving behind a lifetime of tenderness in only a little while. Her tiny hands were always reaching—curling into her daddy’s beard, tugging gently at necklaces, moving through the air like soft, playful dances, as if she were conducting the world around her. She loved to be held, and her favorite place to rest was against a loving chest, where she could drift to sleep wrapped in warmth and heartbeat. When she was first born, she gazed in wonder at ceiling fans, but in her final days she turned her eyes toward us, working so hard to meet our gaze, as if memorizing the faces of those who loved her most. Petite and precious, our little Peanut, she brought even laughter in the simplest moments, surprising us during diaper changes, reminding us that joy and tears can live side by side. Her beautiful dark blue eyes held a quiet mystery, and we wondered if they might grow to match her sissy’s deep brown. We will forever treasure the days we were given with her, even as we mourn the future we will never know—carrying her memory with us, always, in the soft places of our hearts.
Haisley is deeply loved and cherished by her parents, Ceili Manning and Nathan Lafferre; her sister, Ensley Anne Lafferre; grandparents Beth Cummins, Craig and Corrie Manning, and Rick and Jodanna Crowe and Teri Lafferre; great-grandparents Cindy and Byron Cummins, Benny Manning, Doug Crowe; Great Grandmother Donna Bateman and many aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles great-greats, cousins and loving family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
A memorial service celebrating Haisley’s life will be held at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N May, Oklahoma City, OK 73114, on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Integris Health Children’s at Baptist Medical Center or that Haisley be honored by holding your loved ones just a little closer.
