Jean "Rick" Herring

Jean "Rick" Herring born on September 22, 1927 in Oklahoma City to Jeff and Mila Herring. Died on December 21, 2022 in Denton Texas with his loving family by his side. Rick retired in 1987 from the Army National Guard and went on to retire from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 45 years of perfect attendance.He is survived by one daughter, Lyn Dallman; granddaughter, Valerie and husband Robert; grandson, Van and wife Kristanne; and 4 great grandchildren, Paris, Hudson, Charlie, and Lauren. Visitation will be from 10am-6pm with family present from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday, December 27 at Smith & Kernke North May. Funeral Service will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, December 28 at Emmaus Baptist Church, 16001 S. Western, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
