Jerry M. Williams

Jerry Milton Williams of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, at the age of 84. Jerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, financial advisor, and friend, whose gentleness, kindness, and dedication to helping others touched countless lives.

Jerry was born September 20, 1941, in Ogallala, Nebraska. He was the first-born child to Walter and Mildred Williams.

Jerry graduated from Ogallala High School in 1960. He continued his studies at the University of Nebraska, receiving a degree in Business Administration in 1964, followed by a Juris Doctor degree in 1967. After college, Jerry moved to Los Angeles, beginning his career as a Trust Officer at Security Pacific Bank. He chose Oklahoma as the place where he wanted to raise his family and moved to Oklahoma City in 1973 after accepting a position at First National Bank of Oklahoma City. Jerry became actively involved in real estate and property management in Oklahoma City from 1978-1984. In 1984, he returned to the trust business at the Trust Company of Oklahoma. In 1996, along with his partner Scott Davis, they started their own investment company, Asset Management Advisors. He remained devoted to the company he built, continuing his work until the very end.

As a trusted financial advisor, Jerry devoted his career to helping others with integrity, wisdom and genuine care. To his clients, he was a trusted guide and confidant. Even in his final days, he continued serving his clients and following the markets with the same enthusiasm that had defined his career for decades. His passion for the stock market remained as strong as ever, and discussing investments, the markets and the economy brought him genuine joy.

Known for his warm smile, generous heart, and steady presence, Jerry had a remarkable gift for making others feel heard and valued. He was always ready with a listening ear, thoughtful advice, and unwavering support for anyone who needed him. His calm, loving nature brought comfort to family, friends and clients alike.

To his family, he was their rock – the constant source of strength, love and encouragement, who could always be counted on through life’s greatest joys and most difficult moments.

His legacy continues through his loving wife of 45 years, Kathryn (Myers) Williams; son Jason Williams, and partner Heath Olinger; daughter, Laura (Williams) Roy, and husband John Roy; sister Joyce (Williams) Fiorentino; and two grandchildren, Chloe (15) and Caroline (4). He cherished his family deeply and valued every opportunity to spend time with those he loved.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private memorial gathering will be held with family to celebrate his life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. Those wishing to honor his memory are invited to make a donation to the Regional Food Bank, his favorite charitable organization.
