Joseph Eugene Chicoraske passed away in Oklahoma City on October 25, 2025. He was born January 13, 1945, in Choctaw, OK, to Leo W. and Marie Chicoraske. He graduated from Choctaw High School where he played on the 1960 football state championship team. He attended OU where he was involved in the ROTC program and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He was commissioned as a 2Lt. in the Army and served two years during the Korean War. Following his discharge, Joe began his career in accounting. He retired from Civil Service as an accountant in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is a survivor of the Murrah Building bombing.

He is survived by his daughter Joy Chicoraske, grandson Aaron, brother Leon, nephew Tim, niece Christina, and sister-in-law, Carrol Thomas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Church.
