John Anthony Mohr Ii

John Anthony Mohr II passed away on March 24, 2022, from heart complications. John was born on September 2, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, graduating from Mount St. Mary's High School Class of 1982. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1986 after completing his bachelor's degree. Following college, he began an incredibly ambitious career that allowed him to live in and experience multiple cities across the country. In 2008, he found his way back home to his family in Oklahoma City, and soon after met his wife, Janis.John had a successful career as Plant Manager and Supply Chain Specialist. At his time of death, he was the Strategic Sourcing Manager of North America for Palfinger. Other than his devotion to his family and career, he mastered cooking, loved fishing, and had an incredible passion for collecting watches and antiques. The times he was happiest were when he was enjoying life to the fullest in the company of his wife, children, and grandchildren. When he was able to cook for his family and loved ones, the dinner table was always full of laughter, genuine conversations, and cracking jokes. Most often, the same jokes time and time again. John was the ultimate father, husband, and dedicated son. He was always able and willing to lend an ear to his children and offer heartfelt advice free of judgement and criticism. His legacy and memory will live on through his children and grandchildren, his greatest accomplishments. He is survived by his lovely wife, Janis; his two daughters, Paige and Sarah, and son, Christian; parents, Dr. John A. Mohr and Barbara; siblings, Michael, Pamela, and Mark; grandchildren, Aiden and Olivia; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Smith & Kernke Funeral Directors, 14624 N. May Avenue.
