John Ryan Collins, born September 6, 1973, age 52, found peace on April 22, 2026 following a long battle with autoimmune disease. Known for kindness, devotion to his children and family, love of animals and a quirky sense of humor, John touched many lives throughout his 52 years. He operated in oil and gas during his professional life, was a cycling enthusiast and a gifted musician on both piano and guitar. He will be deeply missed by his children, Wyatt Collins and Ellie Collins, their mother, Jill Collins, his mother, Dianna Sells, his father, Jim Collins and wife, Brenda Collins, his sister Brittany Painter, her children, Cassidy Painter and Cole Painter, and all family and friends who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 1st at Smith & Kernke Funeral 14624 N. May Ave. Chapel in Oklahoma City, OK.
