It is with great sadness that we share Kathy Jean Miller, loving wife, mom, and grandma passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2023. Kathy attended high school at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Oklahoma City followed by being a member of the first female class to St. Gregory's College in Shawnee, OK. She went on to become a Registered Nurse, through the RN program at St. Anthony's. Following graduation, she joined the military and served as a Lieutenant, stationed at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco where she met the love of her life, James Olen Miller. Kathy was born on April 11, 1947, to Charles Frederick and Betty Jean Haskett. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Betty Haskett, husband James Miller, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her Sister Patricia Brown, Brother Ronald Haskett, Daughters Melissa Miller Pearcy of Midwest City, OK and Amy Arehart, husband Andrew, of Piedmont, OK. She was a doting grandma who enjoyed spending time with each of her grandkids, Austin Hirom, Andrea Hirom, Mary Pearcy, Nichole Pearcy, Hannah Pearcy, Zachary Arehart, Christian Arehart, and Alexis Arehart as well as her 8 great grandchildren, Ava, Kacen, Phoenix, Paisley, Amelia, Kane, Kamden, and Hazel.The family will receive friends at Smith & Kernke on N. May from 5 – 7 pm Friday followed by a Rosary. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 11 a.m.
