Keith F. Harris

Keith Frank Harris, 84, passed away June 27, 2021 with his loving family at his side. He was born November 6, 1936 in Portland, Oregon to Russell and Charlotte (Waldren) Harris. Keith earned a bachelor degree from Oklahoma State University and remained an avid lifelong Cowboys football fan. He was very successful in business as owner and agent for Harris Insurance Agency. Keith will be remembered as a man who pursued life with passion. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Throughout Keith's life he held many interests and hobbies; including photography, woodworking, cooking and boating. Keith never met a challenge or new hobby he didn't take on with fervor. Keith had a competitive spirit and loved games as long as he was winning. He was skilled at shuffleboard, card tricks and displayed impressive mathematic prowess. Keith's favorite moments were those shared with his family. Keith was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Kim Pempin and husband Mike, Keith "Andy" Harris and wife Rebecca, and John Harris; grandchildren, Nate Harris and wife Brittnie, Holly Harris, Matthew Pempin and wife Kristi, Joseph Pempin and wife Amy; great-grandchildren, Maggie Pempin, Jacob Pempin, and Jason Pempin; sister, Diann Howell and husband Jim; brother, Mike Harris and wife Carolyn. He is also survived by beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Integris Hospice.
