Kevin Andrew Clouse, age 60, was born on November 13, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Jack Irwin Clouse and Darla Jean (Dies) Clouse. He passed away on October 22, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by his loved ones.
Kevin grew up playing sports, often coached by his dad, Jack. He attended Putnam City Schools and participated in the youth group at Wesley United Methodist Church, where he formed lasting friendships and memories that would remain important throughout his life.
His years at Putnam City High School held some of his fondest memories, and he developed lifelong friendships with members of the Class of 1984. Legend has it that Kevin maintained near-perfect attendance, driven largely by a fear of missing out on anything happening with his close-knit group of friends.
After high school, Kevin attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. While he excelled in his bowling elective and extracurricular activities, he ultimately decided that the college route was not for him. During this time, he met the mother of his children, beginning a chapter of life that would lead to what he considered his greatest accomplishment: becoming a father.
Kevin built a career in the heating and air conditioning industry, working as a salesman for more than 35 years. He was employed by several local companies, including Amsco, Bradford Industrial Supply, and Shirley's J&B Supply.
Kevin was happiest in the company of family and friends. He had a gift for making people laugh and never passed up an opportunity to razz his kids. He loved music, drinking coffee on his patio, was a lifelong Sooners fan, and never met a catchphrase he didn't enjoy. "Call Me Maybe" was one of his personal favorites and got plenty of mileage over the years.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Darla Clouse; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Cathy Clouse; paternal grandparents, John R. Clouse and Mildred Clouse; maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Dies; and his beloved cats Mick and Jack.
Kevin is survived by his children, Ashley (Justin) Kromberg of Edmond, OK; Blaine (Jennifer) Clouse of Guthrie, OK; and Chelsea (Ryan) Berry of Lehigh Acres, FL. Grandchildren, Aubree Clouse, Austin Berry, Averie Clouse, Emilia Kromberg, Hunter Berry, and Madeline Kromberg; his sister and brother-in-law, Melisa and Steve Tucker; his wife, Jackie Clouse, from whom he was separated, and her loving family; his niece and nephews, as well as several other relatives, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Smith & Kernke Chapel (North), located at 14624 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73134
