Kristi Michele Nguyen

Kristi Michele Nguyen was born in Gadsden, Alabama in March 1972 to Karen Rae Schmid. She is the oldest of two children, big sister to her baby brother Jason Schmid. She attended Southside High School in Alabama. She attended Jacksonville State University, AL where by happy happenstance, she met her future husband while he was attending the university of Oklahoma. Kristi and Hoang married in 2000. Kristi developed cancer and passed away on August 5, 2020.Kristi is survived by her husband, Hoang; her mother, Karen Sprouse; her baby brother, Jason Schmid; and the people she adopted for her chosen family
