Clad in orange with beautiful platinum hair, OSU lost one of its biggest fans Sunday, January 2 when Laura Elizabeth Davidoff went to her eternal home. Born September 19, 1970, Laura was the beloved daughter of Susan and Mike Roberts, and Jeff and Sue Davidoff, and devoted mother to Julia Davidoff.Laura graduated from Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School. She then graduated with a degree in Marketing from Rockhurst College in Kansas City. While there she became an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan but her true love was always the OSU Cowboys. She is survived by her parents, her daughter and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents Ed and Judy Braun and Sid and Pat Davidoff. Laura was a lifelong member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church and was a tireless volunteer for their St. Vincent DePaul Society, she was the heart and soul of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, providing assistance for needy families. Even throughout her multiple hospitalizations, Laura would have her computer out, making phone calls and sifting through assistance requests. Laura had a generous heart, a quick wit and a strong devotion to Julia and her family. Her life will be celebrated at a Wake Service to be held Sunday January 9th at 3pm at Smith and Kernke on North May. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Eugene's, 2400 W Hefner Rd, at 11am Monday January 10th. As a transplant recipient herself, Laura's life was enriched by the work of the National Kidney Foundation.
