Linda "Jane" Woulfe

Linda “Jane” Woulfe passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024 in her home in Oklahoma City, after a brief illness. 

Jane was born December 1, 1943 in Duncan, Oklahoma to CC “Fat” Woulfe and Ruth Aileen Posey Woulfe. Jane was raised and attended school in Fox, OK. She was a graduate of Fox High School in 1962. After graduation, she moved to Oklahoma City where she started her career working as a telephone operator with her sister, Judy. Jane spent the majority of her professional career as a Landman, which took her all over the country from Oklahoma, Texas to Colorado and eventually settling in Kanas where she worked many years for Koch Industries, from where she eventually retired. 

Jane loved fine dining, a good glass of wine, vintage cars, gardening, cooking, music, including the famous blues cruises and was a talented artist. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, including summers in Oklahoma City. Over the years, Jane had numerous beloved cats and was an animal lover, as often depicted in her beautiful paintings. 

Jane is survived by her brother Gary Woulfe and wife Barbara, brother John William “Bill” Woulfe, sister-in-law Jackie Woulfe, 12 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents CC “Fat” and Aileen Woulfe, her brother James and wife Connie Woulfe, brothers Joe and Jack Woulfe, sister Judy and husband Woodsie Ford.

A celebration of life will be held 10:00am July 27th at Craddock Funeral Home in Ardmore, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ardmore Animal Shelter or Operation Kindness in Carrollton, TX.
