Margaret Anne Gray

Margaret Anne Gray, passed away on June 16, 2022, in Overland Park, Kansas, at the age of 92. She was born on May 7, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joseph and Margaret Colson. She married Guy H. Gray, Jr., on August 20, 1949, at the Northwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Together, they raised two sons. The family lived in various locations, as they followed Guy's work with the National Weather Service. Margaret and Guy moved Lenexa, Kansas in 1974. They were married for 58 years until Guy's death in 2008. She was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Overland Park, Kansas.Margaret is survived by two sons, David M. Gray of Sterling, Virginia, and Danny L. Gray and wife, Starla of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Angela Hayman and husband, Steve of McKinney, Texas; Christopher Gray and wife, Erryn of Edmond, Oklahoma, Brad Gray and wife, Jamie also of Edmond. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Oneida Colson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and her husband, Guy H. Gray, Jr.
