Mary Ann Pryor

The family of Mary Ann Pryor, of Oklahoma City, is saddened to announce her passing on Friday August 23, 2024, at the age of 75 years. Mary Ann was born on November 29, 1948, In Oklahoma City, to Martin and Kathryn (Nee Tener) Wolf. 

 She met the love of her life and beloved husband, Gerald “Jerry” Pryor and they were married for over 50 years before his passing in 2018.

 Mary Ann retired from the Oklahoma City Public Schools after 35 wonderful years. She touched many staff and families' lives over the years.

 Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and her sister Marta Manning. 

 She is survived by her sons Gary Pryor and his wife Jennifer (Prince), Greg Pryor and his wife Dana (O’Leary); grandchildren: Cecily, Liberty, and Ellet “El”; sister-in-law Teresa (Moisant) brothers-in-law Joseph and Phillip and sister-in-law Mary Anne (Henry) and by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 Mary Ann was known for her strong will, compassion, and love for her family and community. 

 Visitation will be held on Saturday August 31, 2024, from 11am to 2pm followed immediately by a funeral service at 2pm both will be held at Smith and Kernke Funeral Home located at 1401 NW 23rd Street, OKC, OK. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
