Mary B. O'Connor

Mary Bell O'Connor, age 97, of Bethany, passed away from this life on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. She was born to George and Ollie Tidwell on February 28, 1925 in Lone Rock Township in Caddo County, Oklahoma. Mary graduated from Binger Highschool in 1942 and worked at Tinker Airforce Base and CIT Financial during and after World War II. She met Kenneth E. O'Connor while working at CIT and they married in 1950. She became a full-time mom to two sons and two daughters and was a big supporter of all her children's extra curricular activities. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and St. Francis Church where her children attended school. Mary lived a long healthy life and enjoyed all of her family and friends. She recently enjoyed participating in a home church Bible study group. She is survived by her two sons; Kenneth M. O'Connor and his wife Mary Catherine, Thomas C. O'Connor and his wife Johnette and both daughters; Carol A. Davis and her husband Curt and Christina M. Jones and her husband Ricky; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, two brothers JC and Bert and one sister Lillian. A graveside ceremony will take place on April 2nd at Resurrection Cemetery for family and friends to celebrate her long wonderful life.
