Mary Louise Houston

Mary Louise Houston, a beloved Oklahoma City native, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 29, 1933, she lived a full and vibrant life, filled with kindness, generosity, and a zest for life.  

A dedicated educator, Mary Louise spent her career as a special education teacher, inspiring countless students. She was known for her warm and caring nature, always willing to lend a helping hand.  

In her free time, Mary Louise enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved tending to her garden, watching birds, and sipping a glass of Chardonnay on a sunny day. She was also a wonderful hostess, known for her gracious hospitality and delicious meals. 

Mary Louise is survived by her three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. The family is accepting flowers.
