Mary Kathryn "Katie" Wamser

Mary Kathryn Wamser, "Katie" passed away from this earth on October 25, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She was born on July 7, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harold Lee and Mary Jo Schultz. Katie loved hats, sewing, singing, children "especially babies", dogs, and little old men. She started her career as a candy striper before becoming a nurse and worked as a nurse for nearly 60 years. Katie was a member of ESA for 41 years. Katie was preceded in death by her father Harold and her brother James Schultz. She is survived by her husband of 54 years George Eugene Wamser; daughter Jeanie Marie Andrews and husband Todd, son James Eugene Wamser, daughter Jodi Lea Kirkhart; grandchildren Kenda, Xaina, Chelsi, Andrew, Teddy, and Renegade; 10 great grandchildren; her adopted kids Richard and Elaine Taylor and their family; brothers Fred Schultz and wife Betty, Mike Schultz and wife Carolyn and their families; and her mother Mary Jo Schultz.
