Mary Lou Ozment

Mary Lou Hawley Ozment was born on June 17,1932, in Ardmore,Oklahoma, and joyfully entered heaven on February 1, 2022. She issurvived by two of her children, Dana Prather and Mike Ozment (Debbie),her four grandchildren Sarah Welch (Will), Geoffrey Cole, Samuel Ozment,and Mica Schuyler (Chris), as well as two great-grandchildren, Geoffreyand Cole Welch. Mary was greeted in heaven by her son, Mark Ozment,and her parents, Ella Mae and Dee Hawley.Mary loved to spend time with her family and meet new people. Known asMama Mary to many, she was up early on Sundays and enjoyed greeting atVictory Family Church. She was an excellent "scratch" cook who couldcreate a feast with minimal ingredients and no recipe. Always learningsome new way to improve her health, she was a bright spark in this worldwho adored her family and savored nature. Anyone who knew Mama Marywas touched by her kindness and positivity. Her infectious laugh and "HiDarlin!" will be greatly missed. She was truly Extraordinary!Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2:00 p.m. atProvence Cemetery, six miles east of Ardmore, OK.
