Mike Honora Oliver-Shotwell

Mike H. Oliver-Shotwell, 78, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Mike was the daughter of Joseph and Martina Fitzgerald and was born on January 19, 1942. Mike worked over 25 years at M&M Candy in Hackettstown, NJ. She retired in 1996. After retirement, she and her husband purchased a farm in Cabool, MO, where she resided until moving to Oklahoma City in 2018. Mike enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for animals. Mike was no stranger to travel and often hit the road to visit family in far away states. She volunteered at the school as a teacher's aide. No stranger to hard work, Mike wasn't afraid to jump on the tractor or backhoe to get the job done. She was a kind, sweet person who helped others in need and was liked by most everyone who met her. Mike was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Shotwell and parents. She is survived by son TJ Oliver of Cumming, GA, daughter Honora Ann Filip of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter Kammi Jenkins of Mountain Grove, MO; nine grandchildren: Jordie Filip of Springfield, MO, and Ryleigh, Rex, and Reese Oliver of Cumming, GA, and Haylee, Khylie, Casen, Cohen, and Caiden Smith of Mountain Grove, MO.
