Mike Paluska

Mike passed away May 16, 2023, in Oklahoma City. He was born May 26, 1943, in Waukegan, IL. He came to Oklahoma City in 1967 to work for General Electric. While working there, he met the love of his life, Dotty Schmitz and they married in 1971. He worked 36 years through numerous business name changes, retiring in 2003. He then pursued his love of pottery, selling his hand-made pottery and teaching pottery class at City Arts.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Anna Paluska, and brother, Lee Paluska. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Dotty Paluska; son, Chris Paluska; daughter, Jeni Paluska Yakel and husband Jonah; two grandchildren, Jacob and Amalie Yakel; and two sisters, Michele Paluska and Robbie Sadler.A private family memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be held Sunday, May 21.
