Nancy Louise Delong

Nancy Louise DeLong of Piedmont, Oklahoma died Sept 27, 2021. Nancy, along with her parents C.J and Gertrude DeLong, co-owned DeLong Mailing Service. A graduate of Bishop McGuinness H.S. she attended O.S.U in her early years. While married and raising 4 children she returned to college (Central State) and completed her Bachelors degree in Early Music Edu cation and Organ Performance from Oklahoma City University. Nancy was a lifelong scholar, musician and mother and could always be found practicing the organ at church, leading the children's choir, cub scouts or studying. In her fifties she attended University of Oklahoma College of Law and passed the Oklahoma Bar.Nancy loved to travel. She loved the outdoors and her acreage. Watching the horses, the wheat bend and sunsets from her front porch as well as enjoying the wildlife and talking to the turkeys which lived in the backyard. She loved her children and grandchildren. She is survived by 4 children, R. Dennis Maschino & Annie of WI, David Maschino of Del City, Brian Maschino & Marci of Wichita and Lisa Strange of OKC. She is also survived by Francis Maschino (Divorced) of OKC as well as nine grandchildren.A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm prior to the Rosary service. Rosary will be offered 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel with a reception to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.Donations in her name may be sent to Catholic Charities of Oklahoma.
