Shelia K. “Pat” Clark passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026. She was born December 12, 1935, in Caney, KS, to Everett and Myrtle Robison. Pat grew up in Kansas and attended Coffeyville Junior College at night, where she studied clerical administration. She spent more than 25 years at Phillips Petroleum Company in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, beginning as a secretary in the stenographic pool and retiring after serving her final eight years as Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board. She was also elected to serve on the company's board. While at Phillips, she worked alongside the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Clark. Together, they shared 66 years of enduring love and companionship.
Pat was a lifetime member of Jane Phillips Sorority and was an active member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. She has been a resident of Oklahoma City since 2000. She never met a stranger and was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and love of spending time with others. She was an active member of every community she called home, faithfully serving through the United Methodist Church, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and tutoring those in need.
Pat cherished time with friends, whether playing Bunco or Bridge, participating in the Caney Valley Country Club golf league, or sharing dinners filled with laughter and conversation. She also found great joy on the waters of Grand Lake aboard their beloved pontoon boat, creating countless memories with family and friends. An avid Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan, she rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. Her love of sports also extended to baseball, where she loyally rooted for both the Boston Red Sox, the favorite team of her beloved husband and the St. Louis Cardinals, her two sons’ favorite team. Above all, Pat treasured family vacations, time spent with loved ones, and the relationships she built throughout her life, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, friendship, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Myrtle; her beloved husband, Robert; her sons, Ron and Kenny; her grandson, Russell; and her siblings, Betty, Ray, Alice, and Don. She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Ann Clark of McPherson, KS, and Debra Clark of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters-in-law, Donna Clark of Havanna, KS, and Vicki Robison, of Paola, KS; two grandsons, Rob Clark of Portland, Oregon and John Clark (Ashley) of Edmond; granddaughter, Keesie Clark (Angie); and two great granddaughters, Charlee and Daisy Mae; as well as many extended relatives.
A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church: 2717 W Hefner Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73120 on Saturday, July 18 at 10:00AM with light refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church: 2717 W Hefner Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73120.
