Patricia Lynn Francis

Patricia “Trish” Francis, 73, of Edmond passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026 into the arms of our Lord and Savior, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, compassion, and perseverance that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Born Patricia Lynn Bates on February 28, 1953, in Hattiesburg, MS, Trish lived a life defined by her unwavering love for her family. Her relationship with Christ was the foundation of her life, and she was deeply involved in her church, where she faithfully worshiped, served, and encouraged those around her.

More than anything, Trish loved her children and family. Being a mother was her greatest joy and highest calling. She poured her heart into her family, offering unconditional love, wisdom, encouragement, and strength through every stage of life. Her family was her greatest accomplishment, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever.

Trish was also an accomplished professional who built a successful career in sales. Consistently recognized as a top-performing salesperson, she was admired for her dedication, exceptional work ethic, and ability to genuinely connect with people.

Outside of her professional life, she had a passion for work in our community evidenced by years of committed service with, among others, the Arthritis Foundation of Oklahoma and Angel Tree Prison Fellowship at Quail Springs Baptist Church.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Ryan Francis, his wife, Natalie Francis, and their daughter, Brittan, who brought Trish immeasurable joy as her granddaughter. She is also survived by her son, Evan, and his wife, Hannah, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmy Sullivan, his wife, Cathy Sullivan, and their daughter, Katelyn Whelen. She cherished her family deeply and valued every opportunity to spend time with those she loved.

Those who knew Trish will remember her warm smile, generous heart, listening ear, selfless nature, and unwavering encouragement. Whether offering words of comfort, celebrating life’s victories, or quietly praying for those around her, she reflected God’s love in both simple and profound ways.

While her family grieves the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, they find comfort in knowing that Trish’s faith has become sight. Her hope was firmly rooted in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and they rejoice knowing she is now at peace in His presence.

Patricia’s life was a beautiful testimony that success is measured not only by accomplishments but by the love we give, the faith we live, and the lives we impact. Her legacy will continue through her family, her friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on August 6, 2026 at 1:00PM at Quail Springs Baptist Church where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, give thanks for her remarkable life, and celebrate the eternal hope she held so dearly.
