Paul J. Muller

Paul Joseph Muller, age 47, passed away on May 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, acceptance and an unbreakable fighting spirit.

He possessed a profound sensitivity that allowed him to connect deeply with the world around him. He navigated life with a tender heart, but when faced with adversity, he revealed a resilience that was remarkable.

He taught us that you can be both the person who feels everything and fears nothing.

Through life's challenges, Paul consistently chose to focus on his opportunities and blessings, the good, the kind, and the hopeful as well as the many blessings bestowed upon him rather than the weight of his burdens.

Paul attended the Catholic School of St. Eugene and Bishop McGuinness, later graduating from John Marshall High School, where he had a passion for the preforming arts and all things artistic. His creativity extended to music, playing guitar, writing poetry and in his adult life the culinary arts. He spent much of his adult life in the food service industry where he thrived with his natural hospitality and hardworking nature. His time in the culinary arts led to him receiving accolades as a sous chef at La Baguette Bistro. He was also a dedicated presence in the family oil and gas business, often working alongside his father and brother. And along with his brother, they started their own oil and gas business, Paseo Energy, of which he was extremely proud.

In his free time Paul enjoyed backyard barbecues with family, attending different sporting events, concerts and festivals.

He possessed a legendary sense of humor, a quick bright wit that could find the light in any situation.

Paul cherished his greatest accomplishment, becoming a father. His life was changed forever when he welcomed two wonderful children Raven and Raine into his heart as his own. His journey as a father was complete with the birth of his daughter, Hannah, who was the light of his life. He is survived by Raven Schatz, Raine Luehring and Hannah Muller. All three carry forward his kindness and resilient spark.

Paul is also survived by his devoted mother Janet Muller, his best friend and brother Patrick Muller, and his two half-sisters Amy Freedman and Ashley Smith. He leaves behind two grandchildren, June and Ivy Schatz, and a niece, Mia Muller, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and a community of friends, most notably Amber Billigmeier and Michael Danielson, Jr. who were his dear friends and roommates. His was preceded in death by his father, Robert Muller.

The family wishes to thank those who walked alongside Paul throughout his journey, offering support and friendship.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 13, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8005 Dorset Drive, Nichols Hills, OK. In honor of his generous spirit, the family asks that you share a laugh, offer a kind word to a stranger and live each day with the same unconditional love that Paul gave so freely.
