Peggy Jo Manning

Peggy Jo Manning was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 88 years ago. She married Don Manning on September 7, 1967. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage. They were blessed with two daughters, Deana Jones (Tom Jones) and Christy Lovelace (Blake Lovelace). She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Taylor Lovelace (Rebekah Lovelace), Matt Lovelace, and Valerie Hollingsworth (Matt Hollingsworth). The loves of her life became her great-grandchildren: Harpur Hollingsworth, Hendrix Lovelace, Lawson Lovelace, and Whitley Hollingsworth. She was eagerly awaiting more great-grandchildren.During her life, Peggy had many accomplishments. She taught school in special education classes for 20 years. Peggy set up new programs in three different school districts in Oklahoma and a new program in a school district in South Carolina. After she finished teaching, Peggy took over the Industrial Machine Company when her father passed away. Peggy was the first female boss and brought a new perspective to the business. She and Don ran the machine shop for 40 years before retiring together and selling the business to enjoy traveling and visiting family.During her final days, Peggy was able to speak with all her family. In her final moments, Peggy was surrounded by her loved ones as she left this earth to join her Lord & Savior and be reunited with the loved ones that preceded her in death. Peggy Manning will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, and MaMo (to her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.)In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. And… We will see you again
