Philip Joe Isaacs (1948–2026), of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, surrounded by his family at Ignite Rehab Resort.
He was born in Clinton, Oklahoma, in 1948 to Garvin Alfred Isaacs and Ellen Mae Isaacs. Philip Joe and his brother, Garvin Alfred Isaacs Jr., grew up in Apache, Oklahoma, where Philip Joe excelled in athletics, earning All-State honors in both basketball and track.
Philip Joe received a basketball scholarship to Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, where he graduated. He later worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), often joking that he had never seen people drink so much coffee, adding that he was always the one sent to get the coffee and donuts. He also proudly served in the Air National Guard.
He went on to cofound Oklahoma Mortgage Company (OMC). Later, in March of 1992, he founded Isaacs and Associates. Philip Joe earned his MAI designation and became one of Oklahoma City’s leading commercial real estate appraisers. He served as Regional President of the Appraisal Institute and built a respected career in commercial appraising through dedication and expertise.
Above all, Philip Joe loved his family. He also had a lifelong passion for hunting, automobiles, engines, and his prized 1965 Corvette. He continually pursued education in cylinder porting and engine airflow and was happiest when working in the garage porting heads. One of his most cherished experiences was visiting the Schlumpf Collection in Füssen, France.
Philip Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Garvin Alfred Isaacs and Ellen Mae Isaacs. He is survived by his sons, Philip David Isaacs and Eric Joe Isaacs, and his wife, Regan; his brother, Garvin Alfred Isaacs Jr.; nieces, Jennifer Isaacs and Eleanor “Ellie” Lunenburg; sister-in-law, Debra deCorrevont; and his wife, Dru Isaac
