Quincy Rodebaugh

Quincy Kaufman Rodebaugh passed away on April 27, 2026 into the loving arms of Jesus. She was born June 19, 1971 to Dennis Kaufman and Sherry Wood and joined brother Wood Kaufman. Quincy was a woman of remarkable strength, deep faith, and a loving spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Quincy overcame many challenges of spina bifida with courage and grace, living her life with determination and a quiet resilience that inspired those around her. Her Christian faith was core to her spirit, and it guided her through life with hope, trust, and compassion. Quincy was the kindest person ever, and she had a gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her warmth, gentle heart, and joyful presence left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

After high school, Q graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in 1995 with a bachelor degree in social work. After working for an insurance company, she joined the family business and was the manager for credit to help independent truckers finance their operations. She built a friendly rapport with clients and co-workers. Quincy thrived greatly during this time.

She married Jason Rodebaugh on May 30, 2015. She served as President of the Oklahoma Spina Bifida Association multiple times. As an adult, she loved to dance and was a role model for many of the dance students.

Quincy is survived by her husband Jason Rodebaugh, brother Wood Kaufman, Stepmother Kathleen Kaufman, Stepfather Sid Dunagan, Step-sister Cathie (Jon) Coussens, Step-brother Eric (Theresia) Vestal, Step-sister Janna Gau, Step-brother Hugh (Jennifer) Dunagan, Aunt Genie Wood, and many other relatives who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. She was preceded in death by her Father Dennis Kaufman, Mother Sherry Wood, and her grandparents.

A service to celebrate Quincy’s life will be held on May 6th at 10:30am at Smith Kernke at 14624 North May Ave. In honor of her life, memorial donations may be made to Wilmont Place Baptist Church in OKC or Aspiring Attitudes dance school in OKC. Quincy will be deeply missed and forever remembered with affection by all whose lives she touched.
