Randall J. Pugh

Randall Jay Pugh, 64, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on May 20th, 2025.

Randall was born on March 7th, 1961 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Virgil Jay Pugh and Betty Pugh.

Randall married Deborah Lynn Friend on May 22nd, 1982 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were married for 43 years after meeting each other in college. They have two children, Ace and Brittany, and a granddaughter, Chloe.

Randall worked as a manager at Edmond Door and Plywood. He was a hard worker who deeply cared about his work and his employees.

Randall especially loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys play, going on road trips to visit the Rocky Mountains and adding to his rock collection, playing with his mini Australian Shepherd, Bear, spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Chloe, and recently taking up a newfound interest in cooking on his new Blackstone grill.

His son, Ace, treasures the memories of adventurous trips to the mountains, where horseback riding, ATV excursions, hiking, and fishing filled their days with excitement. His daughter, Brittany, holds dear the Saturday mornings spent at Waffle House, where breakfast was always accompanied by the familiar tunes of the jukebox, making those moments feel extra special. He was the kind of person everyone wanted to be around—turning simple gatherings like cookouts and ice cream outings into unforgettable experiences. More than anything, he was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first, never hesitating to go the extra mile to ensure their happiness. His love and selflessness shaped countless memories, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Remaining to cherish Randall are his wife, Deborah Lynn Pugh, his son, Nicholas Ace Pugh, his daughter, Brittany Sky Coburn, his son-in-law, James Alexander Coburn, his daughter-in-law-to-be Amber Hayden Munn, and his baby granddaughter Chloe James Coburn.

Memorial services to celebrate Randall’s life will be 1:00 PM, Friday, May 23, 2025 at Smith & Kernke N. May Ave. Chapel.
