Richard D. Anderson, 77, of Edmond, OK passed away on Saturday, June 6th, surrounded by the love of his family.
Richard was born on May 10, 1949, in Washington, Iowa, to Robert and Ruth Ann Anderson. He graduated from Washington High School in 1967. On October 26, 1968, Richard married Jeri Birney. The couple were blessed with 3 children and later 5 cherished grandchildren.

Richard changed careers and began working in oil field sales, which lasted for over 30 years. In 2003, Richard and Jeri moved to Edmond, OK. He retired from Drilling Fluids Technology of Kingfisher, Oklahoma where he genuinely loved his work and the people he worked alongside. Outside of work, he loved his family and working in his yard. Above all, Richard valued his relationship with God, drawing strength and peace from his faith throughout his life.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Jeri Anderson; his children, Brent (Alisha) Anderson of Wichita, Kansas; Chad Anderson of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Amy (Jerrod) Gray of Edmond, Oklahoma.
