Richard Temple Houston

Richard Temple Houston passed away February 25, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 12, 1931, in Arkansas City, Kansas. He served almost 40 years in the US Army, retiring as Sergeant Major. He then began a second career and retired from the US Postal Service. He enjoyed wargaming. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Louise Houston; children: Daniel L. Houston, Sheridan E. Hollender and Mark P. Houston; grandchildren: Theresa Houston, Ashley Hollender and Heather Delgado; and great grandchildren: Genevieve Houston, Santiago Delgado-Houston and Isbella Delgado-Houston. Graveside services will be held with military honors at Memorial Park Cemetery Wednesday, March 3 at 2 p.m.
