Robert Newell Menifee

Robert Newell Menifee was born Dec. 31, 1944, and passed away April 12, 2026. He was a builder and real estate developer for 60 years and had a keen passion for bridge and chess.

He is survived by his life long “girlfriend” and wife, Paula; his three children: Kelly Lindley, Greg Menifee and wife Michelle, and Christine Menifee; his cherished three grandchildren: Gage Parker, Emily Sullivan and husband Jessie, and Abby Parker and fiancé Kelsey Behrnes; and two great granddaughters: Zoey and Molly Sullivan.

Robert is also survived by sisters-in-law Pam Schumann and Patricia Abbott; brother Tom Menifee and wife Barbara; sister Sally West and husband Terry; sister-in-law Joyce Menifee and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was an eternal optimist and viewed every day as an opportunity for something good to happen. To say he will be missed, does not describe the void that will be left in the lives of those who loved him.

A memorial service to remember Robert will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2pm at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel, 14624 N. May Ave.
