Roger Lee Etling

Roger Etling passed away April 27, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK. Roger was born to Larus and Helen Etling on May 13, 1950, in Amarillo, Texas. In 1952 Roger contracted polio. He had several adverse effects from the paralyzing disease. However, he was able to achieve his life's dream of becoming a physician in spite of the polio. He graduated from Boise City High School in Boise City, OK. He was a graduate from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. For many years he served our soldiers as a physician for Oklahoma City VA Health Care System.Roger loved to travel and was fortunate to travel to many wonderful places. He also enjoyed cooking and entertaining, Grand Lake was one of his favorite places to spend time as was Beaver Creek, Colorado. He is survived by his life partner Dan Lorant, his sister Sherrie Haralson and her husband Randy, two nephews Brad Haralson and wife Joni and their children Liz and Will, Greg Haralson and wife Alison and their children Grant and Anna.There will be no services at this time.
