Ryan Johnston

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Ryan Anthony Johnston, who, at the age of 20, passed away on December 26, 2021.Ryan was born on November 13, 2001, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to his loving parents Phillip and Michelle Johnston. He entered this world with an exuberant smile and a set of dimples that served him well in life. At the age of five, the family relocated to Edmond, Oklahoma. In May of 2020, Ryan graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School.Ryan lived his life to the fullest. He loved deeply and laughed often. He was known for being protective of those he was closest to and was always willing to help those in need. His fun-loving sarcasm, wit, and sense of humor were enjoyed by all who knew him. Ryan is survived by his parents, Phillip and Michelle Johnston, his brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Janee Johnston; grandparents, Phil and Nancy Johnston and Lee and Sherrie Wooden; aunts and uncles Pat and Lynn Gann, Cheryl and Christopher Robinson, uncle Perry Johnston, and numerous cousins. A memorial service for Ryan Johnston will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel at Oklahoma City University 2501 N Blackwelder Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73106.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ryan's name to the Oklahoma City University Bishop Angie Smith Chapel Restoration Fund.
