Sandra Joan Warren

Sandra Joan Warren, 75, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away at home on June 24th, 2022 after a sudden, acute heart attack.Sandra was born on October 24th, 1946 to Johanne Margaret Havyack and Michael Vincent Havyack in New York, New York. After graduating from high school as a valedictorian in 1963, she attended Long Island University for a couple years to study Sociology andForeign Languages.After working for the IRS for a few years as an accounts clerk, Sandra met her future husband, Dale Wayne Warren, through pen pal correspondence. They were married in 1968 when also she moved to Oklahoma City to purchase a home and start a family.Sandra and Dale went on to have two children during the next decade, Michael Wayne Warren and Brian Scott Warren. She always provided a loving and nurturing environment for her children as well as the children of other parents in the neighborhood.Her hobbies were numerous and included playing with her canine and avian children, cooking and baking, creative writing, arts and crafts, online research, 50s to 70s era music, teaching braille to others, etc.Sandra was predeceased by her mother in 2009, her father in 1998, and her husband of 22 years in 1990. She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Brian, several in-lawrelatives, close friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery located at 14300 North County Line Rd.In lieu of gifts for the family, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity and/or paying forward the blessings in your life to others in their time of need.
